1.67 high-index lenses are made from materials—MR-7(imported from Korea), that allow optical lenses to be made ultra thin and ultralight-weight by bending light more efficiently.

Blue cut lenses feature a special coating that reflects harmful blue light and restricts it from passing through the lenses of your eyeglasses. Blue light is emitted from computer and mobile screens and long term exposure to this type of light increases the chances of retinal damage. Hence, wearing eyeglasses having blue cut lenses while working on digital devices is a must as it may help in reducing the risk of developing eye related problems.

    SETO 1.67 Polarized Lenses

Polarized lenses have a special chemical applied to them to filter light. The chemical’s molecules are lined up specifically to block some of the light from passing through the lens. On polarized sunglasses, the filter creates horizontal openings for light. This means that only light rays that approach your eyes horizontally can fit through those openings.

Different prescription power in the requirement of different semi-finished lens type or base curve. The semi-finished lenses are produced in a casting process. Here, liquid monomers are first poured into moulds. Various substances are added to the monomers, e.g. initiators and UV absorbers. The initiator triggers a chemical reaction that leads to hardening or “curing” of the lens, while the UV absorber increases the UV absorption of the lenses and prevents yellowing.
